With 54 credits of coursework, our interdisciplinary program includes two concentration options - Organizational Leadership and Educational Leadership - so you can tailor your program to your professional and personal goals. Our program also features in-person residencies to create a cohort community and provide opportunities for peer learning, networking, and mentoring.

Organizational Leadership

In the organizational leadership track, you’ll evaluate various leadership styles and take an in-depth look at the science of leadership. You’ll learn how different leaders can impact an organization and the difference you can make to help drive positive change. This concentration can help you build versatile skills that apply within schools, colleges, universities, and a broad range of other professional settings beyond education.

Educational Leadership

Whether you’re leading in K-12 schools, at the district level, or in a higher education setting, the educational leadership track offers the skills and knowledge you need to help drive change and create solutions to the complex issues facing educational institutions today.

Dissertation Support

Early in the program, you will be paired with a dissertation advisor who will help you manage the demands of the dissertation process to ensure you complete the program and graduate on time. Through a series of meetings and dissertation courses throughout the program, you will formulate, conduct research, and write your dissertation.
