Academic Scholarships are renewable for up to three years (a total of four years) based on continued full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 earned at ¹ú²ú̽»¨.


SAT/ACT Test Takers

If you take the SAT and score 1100 or above, or the ACT and score 22 or above, you will want to submit your test score to earn an additional $1,000 to $3,000 depending on your score. The SAT/ACT award of $1,000-$3,000 is in addition to your Academic Scholarship (Heritage, Academic Excellence, or Presidential). Test scores must be received by June 1 to be eligible for a SAT/ACT award.

Transfer Scholarships: Academic Excellence Award

Transfer scholarships are awarded based on cumulative GPA from all institutions attended. Renewal of transfer academic scholarships is based on continued full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 2.00 earned at ¹ú²ú̽»¨. All transfer scholarships are renewable for six semesters.

How Can I Receive Financial Aid from ¹ú²ú̽»¨?

Over 95% of our students receive scholarships or need-based financial aid such as federal, state, and institutional grants, federal work-study, and federal loans. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at studentaid.gov and enter ¹ú²ú̽»¨'s code 003641 to send your FAFSA to ¹ú²ú̽»¨. When ¹ú²ú̽»¨ receives your FAFSA information from the U.S. Department of Education, we will provide you with your financial aid offer, which will include all of the institutional, state, and federal aid you qualify to receive.

When Can I Expect a Financial Aid Offer from ¹ú²ú̽»¨?

Traditionally, financial aid offers are sent to new students in November prior to the incoming fall semester. Our financial aid team is watching updates related to the FAFSA due to the 2024 delays with the the overhaul and revision of the FAFSA. ¹ú²ú̽»¨, and other institutions, use FAFSA data to prepare your financial aid offer, which provides the total financial aid you qualify to receive.

What Should I Do to Ensure I Am Considered for Financial Aid?

¹ú²ú̽»¨ encourages all students, returning and incoming, to complete the FAFSA at for the 2024-2025 academic year. The FAFSA opened on December 31, 2023.
